This Privacy Policy applies to Crowns Edge (the “Application”), published by DreamedAboutGames (“we”, “us”, “the publisher”). It describes what information the Application collects and how it is used.
Crowns Edge uses Epic Online Services (EOS) to enable multiplayer. When you play, an anonymous, device-generated player identifier is created so the game can connect you with other players. We do not require or collect your name, email address, or any other personal account information to play.
If you choose to use in-game social features (such as adding friends), the display name you set is stored so other players can identify you in multiplayer sessions.
Signing in with an Epic Games account is optional. If you do, Epic shares your Epic display name, your Epic friends list, your online presence and your country with the game, as you approve on Epic's sign-in page. They are used to show your friends and whether they are playing, and to let you invade or be invaded by them. Friends you add with a cross-play friend code are saved only on your own device.
If you enter your email address on crownsedge.com to be told when Crowns Edge is on Steam, we store that address, the page you signed up on, your country (from your connection, not your exact location) and the date. It is only used to send you news about Crowns Edge, is never sold or shared, and is deleted on request. Email contact@crownsedge.com to be removed.
Data the game collects is used solely to enable multiplayer connectivity and in-game social features. We do not sell or share player data with third parties. DreamedAboutGames is committed to handling player data respectfully and in a manner that complies with applicable law and Epic Games' requirements for use of Epic Online Services.
